In addition to the R&D work around diagnostics for Ad-36, Scandivir is also striving to find treatments for other virus related diseases, mainly focused on a natural antiviral sea cucumber extract, for which the company has exclusive patent rights. One example of such a disease is the common cold, for which the extract has shown promising indications in previous studies.
